Warm Fuzzies

I am happy to report that Nick was able to bust out of the hospital late last night! It took some wrangling, but, the new attending final saw the light and decided to let Nick come home. We left the hospital around 9:30PM so we were all tired, but, so very happy that Nick is back home where he belongs.

If all goes well Nick will not have to return for lab work until next Tuesday. Then we will go back for photopheresis treatments on Thursday and Friday of next week. Hopefully, Nick's lungs will cooperate and we will be able to settle into some kind of "outpatient" rhythm, coordinating his lab work and all his appointments to minimize the number of trips we must take downtown. For tonight, I am just going to enjoy having Nick back home in his own bed and my family all under one roof. Goodnight all.
